Regional Chartering Manager MPL IMEA

Responsibilities

• Accountable for chartering activities of fixing non‑Maersk owned vessels and contributing to process improvement and execution of the segment strategy.
• Procures off‑fleet services for breakbulk cargo via Ocean, ensuring quality control and managing the service asset.
• Develops and maintains positive relationships with existing and potential vendors, assisting in identifying and developing new business opportunities through proactive interaction with vendors and brokers.
• Recommends and executes commercial strategies for the vendor category and promotes the chosen deployment strategy to the team, ensuring alignment of geography, period, and customer prioritizations.
• Oversees operational service delivery and operations teams to align with overall deployment strategy.
• Leads small projects or contributes influence to moderate‑size projects through substantial contributions to project framing.
