Description: Every other weekend on call. The unit has 467 beds and a staff of 2 MRI Technologists, 1 for day shift and 1 for night shift. Estimated patient ratios are typical for the setting. Type of equipment used: GE Explorer 1.5 Tesla. Documentation system utilized: Meditech, GE PACS. Call requirements include on-call duty after 11 PM and a 24-hour rotation on Saturdays and Sundays among the team. Typical procedures performed in the unit include MRI Neuro, Body, MSK, Angio, and Breast. Candidates must be able to work independently. Easily adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
