Radiologic Technologist

Education: Associate or Bachelor's Degree from an ARRT approved/accredited program in Radiologic Technology.

Certificates/License: Valid, current State of Iowa Permit to Practice and ARRT registration in Radiologic Technology. Current BCLS certification.

Experience: Hospital based experience preferred. This position requires CT experience. Willing to train the right candidate.

Position Summary: Operates radiologic equipment to produce radiographs (x-rays) of the human body for diagnostic purposes, as directed by the Radiologist. Moves x-ray equipment into specified positions and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors. Explains procedure to patient to reduce anxiety and obtain patient cooperation. Monitors accessory equipment and assist the physician special radiographic procedures.
