Radiography Technologist

Perform all General and Specialized Radiographic procedures such as Mammography, Interventional Fluoroscopy Radiography, Portable Radiography, C-arm, O-Arm, and Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DEXA) examinations per the American Hospital Dubai and Medical Imaging Department guidelines. Instruct and manipulate patients, select techniques, calibrate equipment, and obtain high-quality images.

Review the request and previous studies before performing the examination. Clean, stock, and check the operation of equipment and accessory devices for safety daily in rostered areas. Clean and tidy rooms at the end of all shifts. Work closely with the radiologists to cater for all procedural needs and requirements. Schedule patients for imaging examinations if required. Evaluate the nature of critical and emergency procedures and arrange patient priorities accordingly in conjunction with radiologist instructions.
