About the Role

Do you have working knowledge of sound and radio microphones in a theatre environment? Can you operate Sure Axient software? Do you want to be part of a collaborative, ambitious and dynamic team? Are you available to work from September through to November 2026 in Stratford-upon-Avon?  

We are looking for a Radio Mic Technician to assist and support with sound work ensuring that effective and efficient technical support is in place for specifically in the upkeep and coordination of the radio microphones and practical props. 


Reporting to the Head of Sound, key areas of responsibility include (please see the full job description and person specification for the comprehensive list): 

  • Fitting hairline microphones & managing the radio mic plot.

  • Checking microphone positions, sound quality and patch.

  • Fault finding, repair and maintenance of sound equipment.
