RAC Funding Assessor

Working as part of a team across the region of Wide Bay QLD, you will enjoy autonomy in carrying out your work, traveling to aged care homes to conduct Residential Aged Care Funding Assessments using the AN-ACC tool.

This will be a part-time arrangement working an FTE arrangement of 0.5  

While direct care isn't part of the day-to-day work, you will use your expert clinical skills and knowledge to conduct interviews with residents and staff and review health records to inform the AN-ACC assessment.  The assessments are based on the triangulation of data, using desktop review of existing documentation, observations and conversations with Residents and care providers. The focus of the assessments is to gather information for classifications that will determine funding levels.

This position requires locum travel across the designated region to undertake assessments and provide support to other regions if/as needed.
