Quantity surveying intern

AECOM SA (Pty) Ltd invites applications from currently enrolled National Diploma students in Quantity Surveying who are required to complete their P1 and/or P2 practical training as part of their qualification requirements. The intern will be exposed to a live, complex infrastructure project and will be supported by a qualified supervisor throughout the placement.

The intern will be exposed to, and will assist with, the following activities under the supervision of a qualified Quantity Surveyor:

Introduction to the project scope, contract documentation, Bills of Quantities, and AECOM's quality management system. Measurement and Quantification: Assist with the measurement and quantification of civil and structural works in accordance with the Standard System of Measuring Building Work (ASAQS) or relevant infrastructure measurement standards.
