Testing cum Quality Engineer – Job Role

(Control Panel Automation Industry)

A Testing cum Quality Engineer in a control panel automation company is responsible for ensuring that electrical control panels are manufactured, wired, tested, and delivered as per customer specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct electrical and functional testing of control panels before dispatch.
  
• Verify wiring connections as per GA drawings, schematic diagrams, and BOM.
  
• Perform routine tests such as:
  
  • Continuity Test
    
  • Insulation Resistance (IR) Test
    
  • High Voltage (HV) Test
    
  • Power ON / Functional Testing
    
• Ensure panel components are installed as per approved drawings and standards.
  
• Check quality of panel assembly, wiring dressing, ferruling, and labeling.
