About the Role

Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Quality Control Manager and Senior Technicians, the Trainee will learn to perform asphalt and aggregate material testing to ensure adherence to federal, state, and customer specifications. This entry-level role is designed to train the individual in laboratory inventory, QC sampling, testing procedures, data entry, and other laboratory responsibilities with the goal of becoming a fully qualified Technician.

Main Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in training to learn the basic specifications, principles, and products associated with the construction, aggregate, and asphalt industries.

  • Assist Senior Technicians in inspecting products for quality and performing routine tests on asphalt and aggregates.

  • Learn to properly collect samples from various production points in accordance with safety and quality standards.
