Python Developer

About the Role

We’re hiring a skilled Python Developer to develop an AI-driven platform that empowers users to explore and make sense of the NUS library archive . This is a greenfield project where you'll work on the full lifecycle of Generative AI products—from prototype to production—leveraging LLMs , FastAPI , and graph-based data systems .

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services using Python and FastAPI
• Develop, test, and deploy GenAI applications in a production setting
• Build and maintain LLM pipelines (e.g., OpenAI, HuggingFace Transformers, LangChain)
• Construct scalable data pipelines for ingesting and structuring archival content
• Interface with graph databases (e.g., Neo4j, Memgraph) for relationship mapping
