Royal Canadian Military Institute (RCMI) is renowned for its academic round tables, Canadian military library, museum collections, and social programs. Along with its Institute programs, RCMI also houses a member services branch within its organization where members can enjoy dining, social events, meetings, conferences, fitness, and bedroom facilities.

Position Summary

The RCMI is seeking an energetic multitasker to take on the role of Maintenance Assistant. The individual will assist in the smooth operation of all mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, and overall building maintenance.

• Ensure all areas of the Institute are maintained to the highest standard.
• Perform basic facility maintenance and housekeeping repairs, including but not limited to:
• Plastering
• Painting
• Flooring
• Window and door repairs
• Hanging items on walls (ex. art work, museum artifacts, etc.)
