Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and work with clients and families to address learning, emotional, and behavioural challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to identify learning barriers and implement effective interventions and support strategies.
- Provide counselling, mentoring, and therapeutic interventions to support students’/trainees’ social, emotional, and behavioural development.
- Design and implement programmes to promote resilience, wellness, and prevent potential academic or behavioural risks.
- Conduct workshops and training for parents and staff to enhance understanding and management of learning and behavioural needs.
- Maintain professional standards with relevant qualifications, registration, and experience, particularly in working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
