Psychiatrist

Position

Psychiatrist – Monday to Friday, no on‑call requirement. Must hold an Ontario license and Royal College certification.

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive care to adults with moderate to severe mental illness within a collaborative shared care model. Work closely with community family physicians, psychotherapists, and case managers. Participate in the development of clinical vision, leadership, and new service initiatives.

Qualifications

Ontario license and Royal College certification in psychiatry.

Teaching Opportunities

The position is based at a teaching site for the Rural Ontario Medical Program, providing rich opportunities for education and mentorship.
