Work Setting

• Rehabilitation centre and special health institution
• Prosthetics and orthotics laboratories

Responsibilities

• Instruct in the use of rehabilitative techniques, prosthetic devices and wheelchairs
• Provide technical and professional advice

Credentials

• Certification by the Canadian Board of Certification of Prosthetists and Orthotists
• Membership in the Canadian Association of Prosthetists and Orthotists
