Salary: £32,977 – £35,665 (dependent on experience).
Permanent contracts, subject to successful completion of a 6‑month probationary period.
Role: Lead specified fieldwork projects and supervise smaller‑to‑medium sized projects.
Reporting to: Project Officer.
Job Description
To lead specified fieldwork projects, ensuring performance targets are met, and assuring the quality of archaeological recording and understanding.
- Deliver own fieldwork projects to time, budget, quality and health and safety requirements.
- Assist in the development of archaeologists and trainees through regular performance reviews, coaching and providing toolbox talks.
- Authorship of typescript fieldwork reports efficiently and accurately.
