About the role:
The Project Officer plays a pivotal role in supporting the operational efficiency of the Health Regulator branch. As part of the Business Services team, they act as the central coordination point—the “front door”—for internal and external communications, ensuring timely triage and resolution of enquiries, requests, and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Inbox Management: Monitor and triage incoming communications, including—but not limited to—queries related to permits, licensing, and registration.
* Answering duty holder queries on legislation including the Radiation Act 2005, Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008, and other relevant legislation.
* Level 1 IT support (occasional) for permit and licensing systems for radiation, pesticide and cooling tower regulation
* Asset Coordination: Manage vehicles and essential/emergency equipment.
