Program Analyst

Summary Position serves as a Program Analyst Serves as a Program Analyst to support agency operations by analyzing program data, identifying trends, and monitoring healthcare processing activities. This role collaborates with contractors, field facilities, and internal partners to define requirements, support initiatives, and ensure effective program execution. The Program Analyst provides expert guidance, clear analysis, and actionable recommendations to enhance performance and inform decision-making. Responsibilities Prioritizes escalated provider issues related to unpaid claims for services provided and coordinates with Agency regional healthcare networks (i.e., Veterans Integrated Service Networks) and medical centers and contractors to resolve them. Monitors appeals from providers within assigned geographic areas and provides support to the local Agency medical centers or third-party administrator as needed to ensure providers' issues are addressed.
