Professor of Biosensing for Prevention and Rehabilitation

The Department of Health Sciences and Technology () at ETH Zurich invites applications for the above-mentioned position. 

The focus of this new professorship will be on the development of new diagnostic and prognostic methods (biosensors, biomarker analytics, artificial intelligence), which are expected to be validated via their integration in clinical workflows. The new professor is expected to contribute to digital/personalized health by improving prevention and therapies in prehabilitation and rehabilitation: fields of application include, but are not limited to oncology, geriatrics, neurology, paraplegiology or surgery. The research aims to develop biological, chemical, molecular, optical, electrical or other sensing technologies for an early diagnosis of possible pre- and postoperative complications as well as for health monitoring purposes.
