About the Role

Professional Land Surveyor Reports to: Senior Professional Land Surveyor / Survey Lead. FLSA Classification: Exempt. Travel: 15%. Purpose Under the supervision of a Senior Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) and Business Unit Leader (BUL), the Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) oversees field and office staff to ensure the timely completion of DDG projects. The PLS plays a crucial role in calculating land boundaries in various locations and generating accurate maps and reports of survey results for our clients. This position requires hands‐on experience with surveying instruments and proficiency in GPS systems. To excel as a surveyor, you must possess exceptional mathematical and analytical skills, coupled with a keen eye for dimensions. The PLS supports office and field staff by mentoring, planning field activities, bidding projects and coordinating with the Survey Coordinator and Crew Manager for scheduling.
