Production Supervisor

Summary The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing all aspects of plant operations and workflow. Additional responsibilities include monitoring steps of production, processes, personnel and resources, and is the champion for the Safety and Quality programs at the plant. Essential Job Responsibilities Supervise all secondary floor activities (slitter, shipping, receiving, galvanizing stenciling). Maintain reporting procedures and shift production summaries, including production reconciliation of coils consumed, bundles produced, etc. Ensure operation of equipment by calling for repairs and facilitating maintenance corrections to malfunctions within process. Oversee mill tooling status, roll, and dies. Read and interpret customer and ASTM specs; understand and use Shop Floor, implement and maintain rolling schedule.
