Product Engineer, Electrical

The role

Will report to the Product Engineering Manager, Electrical, and provide dedicated support to the MRE group, working closely with the Director of Mill Reline Equipment. Provide specialised electrical engineering expertise across product development and capital grinding projects. Focus on electrical and control system design, standardisation and productisation of Mill Reline Machines (MRMs), feed chute mobilisation solutions and liner removal tools. Contribute directly to improving safety, reliability and performance of Metso’s MRE offering for customers worldwide.

What you’ll do

• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Proposal Engineers, Market Areas and Lead Engineers to solve technical challenges and support the product roadmap
• Develop standard electrical and control system designs for the MRE portfolio using Eplan Electric P8
