Procurement Specialist

ANDRITZ Canada is seeking an experienced procurement specialist to manage sourcing, award and fulfillment of fabrication of components, materials, parts and services for hydroelectric power plant projects.

Responsibilities

• Source and negotiate pricing with suppliers.
• Manage, issue and revise purchase orders (PO).
• Notify suppliers of drawing revisions and their impacts on our PO’s.
• Enforce and negotiate commercial terms & conditions and all contractual requirements.
• Prepare offer evaluation comparative summaries and make recommendations.
• Follow up on manufacturing or orders and acceleration requests from projects for deliveries.
• Respond to or facilitate suppliers questions.
• Communicate with Project team and engineers for project details (budgets, requisitions, specifications, delivery dates, etc.).
