About the Role
The Procurement Manager is responsible for optimizing the company's stock holding based on data analysis, streamline the ordering of stock, management of staff and implementing operating systems.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Navigate and maintain the procurement model the Supply Chain department primary tool used to analyse stock holding. Also used to forecast future orders and to place orders monthly.
- Also used to analyse monthly sales on our products. (Important: High, first thing that should be done every morning.
- Weekly warehouse replenishment ensuring both JHB & CT have optimal stock holdings.
- Communication with Operations team on urgent stock items.
- Stock transfer between warehouses Maintain tender and private stock holdings by
ensuring stock available on correct product codes. Done by communicating with finance as well as the receiving warehouse. - Forecast orders in the procurement model
