Procurement Engineer

China State Construction Middle East (CSCEC) is recruiting a Procurement Engineer to join our Procurement Team at a newly awarded High Rise Tower Project in Dubai.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Study the requirements of the material/subcontract works according to the contract documents.
• Prepare the request for quotation (RFQ) or enquiry package comprising of specifications, drawings and Bill of Quantity.
• Invite the qualified bidder to quote for the respective package and follow up closely with subcontractor / suppliers to submit quotation.
• Evaluate quotations received ensure compliance with specifications and project requirement. Negotiate with the bidder to achieve good commercial value and credit terms.
• Produce the price and technical evaluation report and make recommendation for the work package.
