Procurement Director at Elkem Silicon Products

The procurement transformation in Elkem Silicon Products (ESP) has accelerated and we are looking for a leader with experience from industrial procurement and category management to manage our initiatives throughout our value chain. As our Procurement Director, you will play an important role in driving our procurement strategy in close cooperation with a central procurement team, procurement departments at our plants and other business units and functions in ESP.
Most important areas of responsibility:
- Set the strategic direction for the indirect procurement function and own the strategy process
- Foster collaboration and alignment between procurement and key stakeholders such as maintenance, process owners, projects and plant managers.
- Oversee, coach and manage the central procurement team, including performance reviews, development plans within the different categories, and day-to-day support.
