Processing Officer – On Call

Location: Palmerston North. Pay: $26.75 per hour (from 1 July 2026) + night rate allowance until 6am.

Shift: Sunday to Friday 10:00pm – 6:30am as and when required.

Requirements: Must have reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels and freight at the Manawatu Operations Centre.
• Assist couriers by preparing parcels for delivery.
• Cover shifts during illness, extended leave or peak delivery periods.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to lift up to 25kg continuously.
• Attention to detail and good geographical knowledge.
• Ability to cover shifts between Sunday and Friday 10:00pm – 6:30am as required.
