Process Modeling and Simulation Engineer (m/f/d)

UPM is a global company focused on developing renewable alternatives to fossil-based materials. We are seeking two new colleagues to join the Process Design Team in the UPM Next Generation Technology Unit as either a Senior Process Modeling and Simulation Engineer (m/f/d) or Manager, Process Modeling and Simulation (m/f/d).

What you will do

• Develop and optimize chemical, fuel, and refining processes based on economic performance and sustainability considerations
• Focus on modeling our biorefinery, including assessing the impacts of new installations and retrofits
• Participate in all phases of technology development and investment projects – from early‑stage concept development to implementation (e.g. scale‑up and scale‑down)
• Collaborate with team members and technology partners to ensure modeling is achieved effectively and efficiently

Who you are

• Have a degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
