Principal Electrical Engineer

Job Title

Principal Electrical Engineer (role can be based in Wellington, Christchurch or Auckland)

Overview

In this role you will provide technical expertise and leadership in the design and construction of electrical networks across the ANZ region. You will work on projects in electrical distribution and transmission, support our Australian Energy team, and contribute to national and internal initiatives. Your responsibilities will include master planning, feasibility studies, business case preparation, and active business development support for the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Detailed design of electrical networks, including transmission and distribution.
• Complete engineering calculations, studies, and technical assessments to support substation development, asset upgrades, replacements, and distributed generation connections.
