Electrical Principal Designer Job Description Provide essential technical knowledge and perform design work as described below. This position serves as an Area Lead Designer or staff designer performing assignments of advanced complexity. Under general supervision of the Discipline Lead Engineer or Design Supervisor, serve as an Area Lead Designer providing guidance / supervision to designers Prepare and check designs of advanced complexity utilizing 3D modeling and 2D Computer-Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) automation tools Coordinate technical issues with other disciplines, project management, vendors, and clients Execute work in compliance with Project Quality Plan and procedures Execute work in accordance with the approved project scope, cost, and schedule baselines Perform bulk material take-off analysis and tabulations Provide technical support to activities associated with equipment and material procurement and subcontracting including review of vendor submittals Provide techn...
