Primary Teacher with SEN

Primary Teacher with SEN needed to work in a Mainstream Primary School in St. Helen's School SEND Provision. Salary: £140 - £180 per day. The role is a long‑term placement starting September 2026 with day‑to‑day, short‑term, long‑term, and permanent opportunities available.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet individual learning needs.
• Create a safe, supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Differentiating learning activities to support a wide range of abilities and needs.
• Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs and multidisciplinary teams.
• Implement EHCP targets and personalise learning plans.
• Use positive behaviour support strategies to encourage engagement and progress.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, families and school staff.
• Promote confidence, independence and emotional wellbeing.
