Primary Care Paramedic (PCP)

We are looking for a contracted paramedic who is interested in working in a Métis Settlement (contracted as an independent contractor).

Role Summary

Provide on-scene assessment, stabilization and treatment; coordinate EMS for transport when indicated; Lead mobile harm-reduction outreach, coordinate patient transfers when needed, support non-emergency transportation for access-barrier clients, conduct in-home wellness visits for seniors, deliver community training on overdose prevention and response, deliver care in a culturally safeway.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to suspected overdoses and other emergencies/urgent conditions; deliver basic life support. Perform permitted advanced interventions (e.g., IV access and naloxone) per protocol and scope of practice.
• Conduct community health centers visits; maintain unit readiness (equipment, supplies, etc.)
