Pre-Dispensing Pharmacist

Medipost Pharmacy based in the Western Cape, Parow is seeking to recruit a Pre- Dispensing Pharmacist, for the Pre-Dispensing Department in Inventory. The Pharmacist will be responsible to supervise, validate and do quality assurance checks on all relevant processes in the Pre-Dispensing department while adhering to good pharmacy practice.

Ensure that the dedicated area for pre-dispensing is:

• Functional
• Clear of other stock, labels or packing material from a previous batch
• Correct temperature and humidity

VERIFICATION AND QUALITY ASSURANCE CHECKS

• Perform verification checks on received bulk medicine (from the warehouse) and communicate any discrepancies to the CDU Pre-dispensing Manager.
• Perform verification checks on assigned work (batch, quantity, product, and product label).
