Platform Engineer – APIs, Data Pipelines & Cloud Deployments

Apex Systems US is seeking a Research Development Software Engineer in Cambridge, UK. This role focuses on platform engineering, APIs, and operational reliability. The successful candidate will have strong Python skills and experience in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and data pipelines.

The position requires a minimum of 50% on-site work, with additional responsibilities in deployment and monitoring. We're looking for someone with substantial R&D or startup experience, ideally with a PhD.
