Plant Protection Officer (Dryden)

Plant Protection Officer – Annual salary range: $60,000 – $75,000. Target bonus: 5%. One existing vacancy.

Location: Dryden, Ontario – a small, remote community centrally located on the North shoreline of the Wabigoon Chain of Lakes between Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Dryden Fibre Canada is seeking a Plant Protection Officer to join the Plant Protection team.

Responsibilities

• Site access security
• First aid and emergency response for the Mill
• Associated administrative duties
• Work twelve-hour rotating shifts

Qualifications

• Safety-oriented mindset; ability to enforce and follow mill safety and environmental policies and procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organization and time management skills with demonstrated attention to detail
• Robust computer skills, including experience with Excel and Word
