Summary The Physician (Chief of Imaging Service) detail is for the Portland VA Medical Center. Responsibilities The Chief of the Imaging Service is accountable to the Deputy Director for Patient Care Services/Chief Nursing Executive.The Imaging Chief has specific supervisory responsibility for the staff radiologists and non radiologist staff including clerical staff, technologists, nursing, technical personnel (PACS administrators), and administrative personnel. The incumbent is also expected to demonstrate a commitment to ongoing clinical competence through continued performance of direct patient care, formal study interpretation, engagement in trainee and staff education.
