This is a 12 Month Position
The Early Intervention Physical Therapist's primary responsibility is to plan and implement PT services to children, birth to three years of age enrolled in Early Intervention Home-Based Services as outlined by the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).
Typical work duties include:
Within the child's natural environment, provide coaching services to the family, consultation, and monitoring of Physical intervention for infants and toddlers across domains.
Complete assessments of children to obtain current levels of functioning and implement and assist in the development of the IFSP. Assessments may include but are not limited to child development, gross motor skills, mobility, postural alignment, reflex integration, motor planning, fine motor skills, and equipment evaluation and fitting.
