Responsibilities
+ Perform venipunctures and blood draws using straight needles and butterfly needles in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner.
+ Collect and store blood and other specimens, such as urine or fecal samples, according to established procedures and test requirements.
+ Explain venipuncture and other specimen collection procedures to patients in a clear, courteous, and professional manner to ensure understanding and comfort.
