PhD in Silicon Pixel Detectors for HL-LHC Upgrades

IFAE is offering a PhD position in the ATLAS PIXELS Group for candidates with a Master’s in Physics. The role will focus on designing and testing advanced silicon detectors, contributing to the ATLAS experiment at CERN.

The position involves a full-time internship contract followed by a predoctoral contract of approximately 2 years with a possible extension. Candidates are expected to have a strong academic record, proficiency in English, and previous experience in detector R&D.
