Pharmacy Technician (Lethbridge)

AHS is seeking a skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join the pharmacy team at Chinook Regional Hospital. You will work to the full scope of practice and support protected, efficient, and high-quality patient care in all areas of medication distribution.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform sterile and non-sterile compounding.
• Conduct final checks of medications, inventory, and procurement activities.
• Check and dispense patient‑specific medication orders prepared by Pharmacy Assistants and other Technicians.
• Prepare and check repackaged medications.
• Complete Best Possible Medication Histories (BPMHs) in a clinical setting.
• Mentor Pharmacy Assistants and Technicians, train new staff, and precept students.
• Collaborate closely with pharmacists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
