Pharmacist - Cicero, Illinois

A night pharmacist opportunity is available at a leading children’s hospital in the Chicago area, offering a 7-on, 7-off night schedule (9:00 pm to 7:30 am). This contract role is perfect for pharmacists with a passion for pediatric care and solid hospital pharmacy experience. The position requires immediate availability and will extend for a minimum of 13 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medication orders during night shifts, with specific attention to pediatric patients


• Utilize EPIC and Omnicell systems to manage prescriptions and inventory


• Provide expert consultation on weight-based pediatric dosing and other specialized pharmaceutical care


• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure safe and effective medication management for children
