Plans, coordinates, supervises, and carries out the activities of the nuclear medicine, PET/CT area. Work is carried out in an independent, professional manner with minimal supervision.
Education
High School Diploma plus 1 year vocational school
Experience
Six months of related experience
Licenses & Certifications
*Healthcare (CPR)
*AART or NMTCB
Qualifications
*Graduate of an approved 2-year Radiological Technology/Nuclear Medicine program.
*Must be proficient in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
*Must be Registered Technologist.
*Will accept ARRT, or NMTCB, or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine).
Area of Responsibilities
*Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient's needs.
*Perform nuclear medicine procedures.
*Responsible for CQI related duties.
*Responsible for maintenance of proper patient records.
