Personal Care Assistant

Job descriptionPersonal Assistant (PA) Required Halesowen Area We are looking for a caring, patient, and reliable Personal Assistant (PA) to support our 13-year-old son, who has profound autism, severe learning disabilities, complex behaviours, Lennox‑Gastaut syndrome, and a visual impairment.

He is a young, loving and mischievous boy with a big personality, and enjoys being outdoors, exploring the world around him, and taking part in sensory activities that make him smile and feel calm.

About the Role

The role involves providing 1:1 support at home and in the community, helping him feel safe, understood, and able to enjoy the things he loves.

Duties

• Providing close supervision and ensuring his safety at all times.
• Supporting with personal care and feeding.
• Helping us understand and respond to his needs (he is non-verbal).
• Supporting with epilepsy management (full training will be provided).
