Position Summary

New grads and USA Certified Licensure welcome to apply for permanent positions. Northern Health is seeking a Pediatrician for Dawson Creek, BC. This role offers an opportunity to build a new pediatric service, with abundant clinic and consult opportunities. In addition to clinic work, the pediatrician will support the maternity unit when required and provide consults to ER physicians for patient management.

Dawson Creek has no designated inpatient pediatric beds or a neonatal intensive care unit; regional inpatient pediatric services are provided in Prince George, BC. The professional environment includes support from locum pediatricians in nearby Fort St. John.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary pediatric clinic care to patients in Dawson Creek and surrounding region.
