Payroll Specialist

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for prevailing wage and certified payroll compliance for public works and regulated construction projects. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including the IRA tax credits, Davis-Bacon Act, and partners with Payroll, HR, and Project Management to ensure accurate wage application and documentation.

+ Interpret and apply prevailing wage determinations based on project scope, classification, and jurisdiction

+ Prepare, review, and submit weekly certified payroll reports (CPRs).

+ Input and audit payroll data, job classifications, fringe benefits, and hours worked.

+ Track and communicate wage determination updates and rate changes.

+ Coordinate with project managers, operations teams and payroll team to resolve discrepancies.
