:A Patient Financial Advocate (PFA) provides financial counseling to uninsured/ underinsured patients, by determining eligibility for IMH patients and individuals in the communities we serve. Patient Financial Advocates assist patients by processing and submitting documentation and applications for various medical assistance programs, such as: State/ Federal public benefits, ACA insurance education, and internal/ external financial assistance/aide programs. A Patient Financial Advocate will provide general insurance education, price quotes to potential patients, and assist with payments and payment arrangements.

Schedule - Must be available to work variable days and hours

Register patients. Confirm, enter, and/or update all required demographic data on patient and guarantor on registration system. Avoid overlays and duplicate patient medical records.
