The Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) serves as a key member of the Pre-Anesthesia Evaluation Clinic team, providing administrative and scheduling support to ensure patients are prepared for surgery. Responsibilities include coordinating pre-anesthesia appointments, managing high-volume scheduling and incoming calls, reviewing referrals, obtaining and verifying patient demographic and insurance information, and facilitating communication between patients, providers, surgical clinics, and ancillary departments.
