Job Summary

Pastry & Bakery Commis I assists the Chefs in day‑to‑day operations of the kitchen and helps maintain a high standard of food preparation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare food items in accordance with standard procedures, recipe cards, photographs and given instructions.
  • Assist the Chef de Partie/Demi Chef de Partie/Commis I in developing standard recipes and ensure strict compliance with them.
  • Participate in product development and support the smooth, efficient operation of the kitchen.
  • Apply sound knowledge of cuisines and food service sanitation to perform duties efficiently and productively.
  • Maintain complete knowledge and adherence to Four Seasons Food Standards.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and a positive attitude at all times.
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the Sous Chef or Executive Pastry Chef.
