Job Summary & Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will teach MARA 5009 Integrated Coastal Zone Management, a graduate-level half-credit course offered during the Fall 2026 term. 

The course examines the theory and practice of Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM), emphasizing the management of complex coastal socio-ecological systems through interdisciplinary and integrated approaches.

The instructor will be responsible for delivering course content, facilitating discussions and experiential learning activities, guiding student assignments and projects, evaluating student performance, and maintaining regular communication with students. The course includes case study analysis, stakeholder simulations, and applied group projects focused on coastal management challenges.

Qualifications/Requirements of Position

Candidates must, at a minimum, possess a Master’s degree in a marine, environmental, coastal, policy, or related field. ...
