Paramedic

Under general supervision, performs rescue and emergency medical care functions. Work involves standing ready to respond twenty-four hours a day to emergency calls within a short period of time which includes but is not limited to responding to emergency assignment; performing duties as outlined by National Registered Paramedic certification; driving and maneuvering emergency vehicles; remaining vigilant in regards to scene assessment and safety; requesting, routing, and coordinating resources; managing emergency scenes and communication; performing inventory, stocking, and cleaning of equipment/unit; performing documentation; staffing the emergency center; etc. Reports to EMS Manager and performs all tasks assigned
