About the Role
Join Superior North EMS as a Paramedic and provide critical emergency care in Thunder Bay. Your expertise in patient treatment and rapid response is essential to our community.
Reporting to the Superintendent of EMS Operations, you will perform patient assessments and administer emergency medical care. Along with responding to calls, you will work closely with Central Ambulance Communication Centres to maintain communication and safety protocols. Your role will include cleaning and restocking equipment and representing EMS in community education programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend emergency calls and log transport details
• Evaluate patients and address safety concerns
• Provide care according to BLS and ALS standards
• Document incident reports per Ontario guidelines
• Clean and maintain ambulance equipment
Requirements:
• Valid Ontario Class “F” driver’s licence
• Successful completion of mandatory EMS training
